The Young Narrator’s Contest was created to encourage fresh young voices to step into the world of storytelling. What began as a small idea turned into something magical, with 350+ submissions from across India, each bursting with creativity and heart. This webpage is a celebration of every young narrator who breathed life into Hathilal and the Mice, and the ones who made it as winners of the contest.

Participant Testimonials
I felt like I was inside the story! I wanted to make the characters sound real, just like in the Karadi audiobooks I listen to!
– Bargav Ananth
It was a great opportunity and experience for our little ones to learn. Thank you for this contest!
– Inchara Athreya’s parent
Atharv had a blast while recording story. From adding his own expressions to voice modulation- every moment was filled with creativity and excitement. Thank you for giving young narrators this wonderful platform.
–Atharv Bhardwaj’s parent
Jayasankar enjoyed it. The most amazing thing was it increased his self-awareness and empathy. After recording, when he listened to his own recordings, he gave a self-feedback pointing out which part was not clear or where the writing conveyed something else but the expression conveyed something very different. So he reworked on the audio multiple times till he was satisfied.
